Senior FBI Alums Sound Alarm on Garland’s ‘Politically Loaded’ School-Board Threat Memo

High-ranking FBI alumni are sounding the alarm on a memo from Attorney General Merrick Garland highlighting a supposedly “troubling spike in harassment, intimidation, and dangers of violence” versus schools and school authorities, from moms and dads. According to these previous authorities, the memo represents an unwanted politicization of the bureau’s objective, and might hint more effects down the line.

Garland’s memo, provided in October, advised “the Federal Bureau of Investigation, dealing with each United States Attorney, to assemble conferences with federal, state, regional, Tribal, and territorial leaders in each federal judicial district,” in order “to assist in the conversation of techniques for attending to dangers.”
