On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Federalist Managing Editor Madeline Osburn joins Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky to discuss CNN’s Brian Stelter and his recent tone-deaf response to Bari Weiss’s real concerns about cancel culture and corporate media agenda-setting.

“It’s like he’s not even really trying to be deceitful. I think he legitimately thinks that bias doesn’t exist,” Osburn said. “Brian Stelter’s media show is like the most inaccurate media show and the irony of that is just astounding.”

Jashinsky said Stelter might appear sincere in his attempts to describe the media landscape but his blindness to the control that cultural leftist elites have on American society is inexcusable.

“Their claim to holding up the mantle of facts and science is coming from the pan-institutional credibility that they get because all of our major institutions are controlled by cultural leftist elites. They’re not all controlled by anti-capitalists. They’re not all controlled by anti-war people. But they are controlled by cultural leftists and if you can’t understand that at this point, as is I think the case with Brian Stelter, you are so blinded by this boogeyman of hordes of like roving MAGA mobs,” Jashinsky said.
