Visatra Plans to Hire 1,000 Employees as Air Traffic Increases

Vistara, a joint endeavor inbetween Tatas and Singapore Airlines, is looking to boost its overall number of workers to 5,000 by the end of2022 Currently, the airlinecompany has around 4,000 individuals.

Last week, Vinon Kannan, Vistar’s CEO, stated: “While we had resumed recruitment and ramp-up of resources on different fronts buoyed by optimism in late 2021, the requirements around training and tenancy suggested that we were not able to scale up as wanted. This, combined with a scale back in capability, demanded by a sheer decrease in need, indicated that the volume of queries and demands increased manifold.”

The airlinecompany, which presently has 50 airplanes, intends to have 70 aircrafts by the end of 2023 after thinkingabout some airplane returned to lessors.
