Vietnamese budget airline Vietjet said it had signed an agreement with Airbus on Friday involving the timing of deliveries of 119 planes.

According to Airbus, the airline has 119 A321neo narrowbody planes on the order that are yet to be delivered. Vietjet will also take on the delivery of up to three leased A330 widebodies in November as part of fleet development plans to better meet travel demand in the future.

The agreement between VietJet and Airbus also outlines greater cooperation in training and maintenance for VietJet’s aircraft’s equipment supply and services and the development of MRO facilities for the airline.

The carrier’s fleet currently consists of 18 A320ceo’s, 38 A321ceo’s and 19 A321neo’s with six more on order.
