NRPLUS MEMBER ARTICLE T he New York Times just recently reported that “because 2019, 9 states– all managed by Republican legislators– have actually enacted legislation to prohibit or restrict athletic involvement by transgender trainees.” Regardless of such claims, American lawmakers are not prohibiting transgender-identifying professional athletes from contending in sports. What they are attempting to do is maintain single-sex groups. If, in this undertaking, the sex an individual recognizes as is thought about unimportant, it is just since the sex an individual recognizes as has no bearing on an individual’s real sex.
